I run stone carving workshops for adults and children
at varying venues including my home studio.

The next two blocks of 5 morning classes will run on Wednesday mornings from 9.30am–12.30pm starting in January 2008. First block: Jan 9th,16th,23rd, 30th, Feb 6th Second block: Feb 20th, 27th, March 7th, 12th, 19th These classes are at my studio.
All the current programmme of workshops are fully booked. I will probably be running more in the autumn winter of 2008/9. Contact me if you would like to reserve a place.
Stone carving is dusty, challenging and therapeutic. My own studio is cosy and well equipped. All tools and protective equipment are provided. It is situated just outside Broughton in a lovely rural setting. Great coffee and flapjack is supplied.
The one-day workshops cost £60 and include stone. Cost per 5-week block of morning classes is also £60. The cost of stone in this case is extra and there are usually a good variety of types and sizes to choose from. Because classes are usually oversubscribed I ask for payment in advance. Class size is limited to a maximum of 8 so booking is essential. Carving is not usually suitable for children younger than 11.
