I run stone carving workshops for adults and children
at varying venues including my home studio.

The next series of classes will be running in the mornings only in the autumn and winter of 2012. Classes will run 9.30am–12.30pm on wednesdays. These classes are at my studio. There are two consecutive blocks of 6 weeks apart from a 2 week break in October. First block 12,19,26 Sept; 17,24,31 Oct. Second block 7,14,21,28 Nov; 5,12 Dec. Cost for 6 weeks - £75 plus the cost of stone.

mosaic workshop on Saturday 19th January 2013
and stone carving the following weekend on 26th January. The mosaic uses a direct method with glass and ceramic tiles suitable for beginners. A short return visit is usual to finish the piece. Do contact me if you have any questions.
Stone carving is dusty, challenging and therapeutic. My own studio is cosy and well equipped. All tools and protective equipment are provided. It is situated just outside Broughton in a lovely rural setting. Great coffee and flapjack is supplied.
Because classes are usually oversubscribed I ask for payment in advance. Class size is limited to a maximum of 8 so booking is essential. Carving is not usually suitable for children younger than 11.
