Craigleith Crescent, Edinburgh
2004/05
Front and back of a 1930s town bungalow with a nondescript and derelict garden. The clients had an interest in Japanese style gardens, Scottish drystane dyking and native species - and two small boys. Low maintenance was an important requirement and most of the gravel and bark mulch is underlain with ground cover matting. The drystone walling was by Bruce Curtis.
